بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Welcome to Official Website of Masjid Al-Rawdah

Zakatul Fitr 2024

This year’s amount for Zakatul Fitr is $12 per person. The head of the household needs to pay for each member of the household, including children. This Zakat must be paid before the Eid-ul-Fitr Salah.

There are envelopes in the Masjid marked Zakatul Fitr to use, and there is a slot in the donation box to place your money.

We encourage everyone to please pay their Zakatul Fitr as early as possible to allow for distribution to the needy before Eid day.

Please join us every Friday and Saturday for a community Iftar at the Masjid.

Please donate generously during the blessed month of Ramadan to cover the costs of maintaining the Masjid which is dependent solely on donations from the community. There is a great reward in maintaining the Houses of Allah.

Coronavirus

Covid-19

The state is now vaccinating anyone who is 5 years or older. We urge everyone to please get vaccinated as soon as possible. Please consult your doctor if you have any questions. The sooner we all get vaccinated, the sooner we will be able to return to normalcy. Until then we will continue to wear masks and social distance, even those who are already vaccinated.

As communities and public health officials respond to the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19), we are closely monitoring its progression as well. Below are some guidelines and resources for our community.

The Basics: How you can protect yourself

Symptoms of the coronavirus are similar to the flu or a cold: runny nose, headache, cough, sore throat, fever and a general feeling of being unwell.

These are some steps health officials recommend to protect yourself:

·   Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use a hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.

·   Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

·   Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

·   Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.

·   Clean and disinfect object and surfaces.

·   Stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill.

For more information please visit the CDC website: www.cdc.gov

Additionally, it is permissible for those who are sick or not feeling well to not attend prayer congregations, even Jumua Salaat, and to stay at home instead. Anyone missing Jumua Salaat should pray Dhuhr Salaat.

The Masjid has hand sanitizers and we urge everyone to use them when entering and when leaving the Masjid.
